"A" Plus Paper

For Students of All Ages

Mission Statement - No More White Lined Paper!

Monday, March 26, 2007

Dear Guest,
Have you ever had trouble taking notes in a classroom setting? Did you have trouble figuring out what certain
key points or phrases you should write down, and where to write them? Have you ever taken notes in a class and
instead of going home and studying them, you went home took an hour or more to create flash cards? Have you
ever just written your notes over again just because you could not handle the disorganization of them while you
were trying to study? (Which is proven not to have any effect on information what-so-ever).
Are you taking notes?
At every level in our education system the demand placed on students from their teachers to retain
information has been increasing every year. A typical 8th grade student generally has five times more of a work
load than a typical 8th grade student six years ago. Furthermore, there still has yet to be a pre-requisite class
called "Note Taking." The material that would be covered in this class is expected to be learned on ones own.
It astonishes me how note taking in any situation in life is crucial in determining success, and yet most people
have not found a method which they use in practice.
Have you found a note taking method that works?
My mission with "A" Plus Notes is to save the hassle of learning a note taking method and drawing all of the
lines in on your regular white-lined paper. My Mission is to synthesize the idea of flash cards with a paper designed
with a re-call column. My mission is to save students time when preparing for an exam or writing a paper by having organized notes that are accurate and meaningful as they are written. I want students to feel confident while they
are taking notes. In a class room lecture there is not enough time for a student to question his notes while a teacher
is talking. There is not enough time to organize your notes during a lecture. Information from the teachers mouth
comes out at such a fast pace, if you break your focus you may just miss the most important point. My mission is
to make great note taking as easy and natural as possible.
Do you have "A" Plus Notes?

Thank You, and best of luck with the school year!
